enCouragingBliss: A New Way to Participate

Lotus at the Buffalo Botanical Gardens

Listening to: Something very new to me but if you like Feist...

Bliss:
Oh, my daily yoga and kriya are really kicking in. I am starting to feel the shiny effects! Overall, a more intense and steady happiness, more spontaneous singing, more giggling.

A few weeks ago, I decided to start this Thursday regular post enCouragingBliss to allow for a space where people could leave comments about concrete steps they wanted to take toward walking their bliss paths.

I think things like this are needed, and readers seem to agree.

But Rebecca recently linked back to one of these posts and pointed out that she thinks I am encouraging your bliss just about every day I write. (Thanks, Rebecca!)

Cool. This made me think: What exactly then should the Thursday special post be functioning like?

Here are the changes.

These posts will be shorter. We'll see. (I always say that and then...)

I want them to be more Prompt-y, because I want them to leave enough space for you to respond in ways that you need to respond.

Here's the deal: I've created a button. Please, if you are participating, feel free to use this button on your own blog. You should be able to just click it and drag it onto your desktop and use it from there. Please link it back to Blisschick. That would be cool.

And you can entitle it, as I have, if you want: Live Your Bliss Accountability Circle.

Spread the love to others, because I really believe that the more of us that are doing this, the more of us that are setting intentions and then holding one another accountable, the more power we will have as individuals and as a group, and the more likely we will Be the Change by Living our Bliss.

At the end of the posts, rather than have you only leaving comments (which you can still do, of course!), I am going to use the Mister Linky, so that you can write a post at your blog and then come here and leave the URL so the readers here can find you!

What do you think? Are you game?

Let's get started...

For this week, think about, write about, Mister Linky about...when you visualize your happiest, healthiest, most rockin'est self, what do you see? Where do you see this? What are you doing? Come on! Share!

And don't be shy -- visualization is the first step: put the most MAGNIFICENT thing you can dream out into the universe!

I LOVE the button! And what a wonderful idea for spreading the Bliss! And this enCouraging is working because this past week I created a texture trial abstract and an intuitive ink piece.

I'm going to have to give some thought to my response post - I've been working on discovery-ing that for awhile now.

Meanwhile this week:

a new texture trial (there are more textures to try)
an abstract working with shapes
a new intitutive ink piece

Oh, and I'm have great fun participating in this blogadventure and am "writing", maybe that is creating, a totally fun serial.

Thank you BlissChick for all the enCouraging wisdom and support! Oh, and pink lotus coincidence, check out my intuitive collage for March.

Thank you! Your blog to me is a daily reminder....I get so caught up in my head that I forget....what a wonderful way to share and to remember what we are here for to begin with!

If you're reading this and haven't checked out Carla's or Jei's post on the question, please do so. They both treated it so beautifully.

Rebecca, I'm glad you LOVE the button. It took me forever to figure out! I can be slow like that! :)

And I really love your intuitive collage piece today; it spoke directly to me.

I look forward to your response post. :)

This is really, super-great! I've been sporadically trying to write about self-development and discovery, but somehow keep getting lost on the path. So I started a new blog dedicated specifically to this train of thought where the daily "Stuff" doesn't bog down the mission of looking inside. This prompt was a real awakening for me today. Thanks Christine! :)

I don't have a blog of my own yet!(coming soon though, at least that is my intent)... is there a way that I can still participate? Do I just respond here in the comments? Oh I have so many webby things yet to learn.

I agree with Rebecca too. You don't know what your blogs mean to me. I am going through all kinds of changes, epiphanies...I think the biggest thing I have realized is it doesn't all have to happen NOW! It is a process, one step at a time. Enjoy every step. It is the journey that is the reward. Don't use the old worn out saying one step forward and two steps back...revel in that one step forward. Yes, you may still be in the muck of things but you took one step out. One foot in front of the other. Take a deep breath and be thankful for that step. Don't look at all the steps you still need to take it can be overwhelming. A very intelligent man told me the story of a man and woman who rode bikes together everyday. Everyday they would come to a steep hill and the man would say..."Are you ready for the steep hill?" It psyched the woman out. She asked him not to say that anymore. She chose to think of it as pushing the pedals one at a time and rejoicing when she got to the top. So, I am celebrating every little step. Enjoying the journey, even the hard lessons, the ones that really hurt, pull, tug and try their darndest to push you back.

Congratulations to everyone. Keep up the good work! You can do it! Take a deep breath and tell yourself that. You are beautiful and wonderfully made. You have boundless energy.

love and light
Jessica

Everyone, thank you for your enthusiastic response to this. I have been so enjoying seeing what little ripples it is sending out, and I look forward to the expansion of those ripples -- so magical!

Karmacoy -- Of course -- Just respond right here! That's the beauty of it; you don't have to have a blog, though I would very much love to see you start one (being a big believer in them -- ha!).
